Our knowledgeable cannabis consultants are here to help you find the perfect product. We offer personalized one-on-one consultations where we discuss your experience level, desired effects, consumption preferences, and any concerns you may have.
Whether you're a first-time cannabis user or an experienced consumer, our team will guide you to products that match your needs. You can also explore our educational guides:
Indica strains are traditionally associated with relaxing, body-focused effects and are often chosen for evening use. Sativa strains typically provide more energizing, cerebral effects preferred for daytime activities. Hybrid strains combine characteristics of both, offering balanced effects.
However, modern cannabis science shows that terpene profiles and cannabinoid ratios play a larger role in determining effects than the indica/sativa classification alone. Our budtenders can explain how specific products may affect you.
Read our full Indica vs. Sativa vs. Hybrid guide →Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in cannabis (and many other plants) that contribute to each strain's unique smell, flavor, and effects. Common cannabis terpenes include myrcene (earthy, relaxing), limonene (citrusy, uplifting), and pinene (piney, alert).
Terpenes work alongside cannabinoids like THC and CBD in what scientists call the entourage effect, where the combined compounds produce a more nuanced experience than any single compound alone. Our consultants can help you understand terpene profiles to find products you'll love.
Read our full Guide to Terpenes →Cannabinoids are the active chemical compounds found in the cannabis plant. The two most well-known are THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which produces the psychoactive effects commonly associated with cannabis, and CBD (cannabidiol), which is non-psychoactive and often chosen for its potential wellness benefits.
There are over 100 cannabinoids, including CBN, CBG, and THCV, each with unique properties. The combination of multiple cannabinoids and terpenes creates the distinct experiences associated with different cannabis products.
Read our Cannabinoids Explained guide →Cannabis strain names often reflect their lineage, flavor profile, effects, or the culture of the breeders who developed them. Names like "Blue Dream," "Sour Diesel," or "Girl Scout Cookies" can hint at a strain's terpene profile, parent strains, or the experience you might expect. Understanding strain names can help you navigate a dispensary menu and find products you'll enjoy.
