The Highline is a small, design-led cannabis shop at 45 Main Street in Hastings-on-Hudson, opened in 2026 by a team of Westchester locals who wanted to build the dispensary they would actually want to walk into.

We built The Highline around education, not transaction. First time, or returning after thirty years away, you get a warm, unhurried, judgment-free conversation. Our staff explain cannabinoids, terpenes, and dosing in plain language, and meet you exactly where you are.

Our selection is tightly curated and small-batch-first, independent New York growers, lab-tested every batch, chosen because we'd use them ourselves. And we carry quality at every price point, so a considered, well-made product is within reach whether you're spending a little or a lot.

Why an apothecary, not a dispensary
Most cannabis retail in the Northeast still treats customers like a queue. We were tired of that. The Highline is built around the consultation, a slow conversation about what you want from your night, what you've tried, what didn't work. The shelf is the conclusion, not the premise.

Why Hastings-on-Hudson
The Rivertowns are a quiet, walkable, design-literate corner of Westchester, Aesop-and-Warby-Parker country. Adults here read labels. They care where their wine comes from. They want the same for their cannabis. The village said yes, the OCM said yes, the neighbors said yes. We opened.

Who we carry
Indoor flower from independent upstate farms. Sativa vapes and micro-dose gummies for daytime, sleep gummies and full-spectrum chocolate for slow evenings. Forty cultivars we love instead of four hundred we tolerate. Every batch is NY-licensed and lab-tested. Certificates are on file at the counter.

Who we serve
More than a third of our regulars are over 55. Many are returning to cannabis after thirty years. We slow down. We dose conservatively. We pair edibles with sleep, topicals with chronic pain, micro-dose tinctures with anxiety, and we explain it like adults explaining things to adults.
