Who they are

Tap Root Fields is a small-batch, vertically integrated cannabis farm based at 4272 Jordan Road in Skaneateles, in New York's Finger Lakes region. The operation is run under the legal entity Tap Root Family LLC and got its start in 2019 as part of the New York Hemp Pilot program, growing hemp for CBD extraction. In 2022 the farm received a conditional cultivation license and planted its first round of adult-use THC plants.

What they grow

The farm is sun-grown and pesticide-free, leaning on living soil and regenerative methods meant to build a healthy ecosystem in the beds rather than force yields. Cannabis shares the property with seasonal produce, cut flowers, and beehives, and the buildings run largely on solar power. Alongside adult-use flower, Tap Root Fields makes solventless concentrates such as bubble hash and a line of CBD topicals and tinctures sold at its roadside farm stand.
